Mark brings over 30 years of experience serving government in California, with the last 28 years dedicated exclusively to State government. Most recently, he served as Client Account Lead for Accenture's Public Service practice supporting the State of California — a role he held for five years following positions as Business Development Lead and Office Managing Director.
Prior to Accenture, Mark held leadership and business development roles at Cisco Systems, Deloitte Consulting, and Wang Laboratories, pursuing large-scale systems integration and infrastructure projects that enhanced the delivery of government services to Californians. His expertise is in helping government transform by leveraging technology and innovation to better serve its constituents.
Mark is deeply passionate about creating cultures that are diverse and recognize the value of differing perspectives — of thought, background, and experience. As a veteran who served 7 years in the United States Navy, he actively supports efforts to create non-traditional pathways for veterans transitioning from active duty and candidates from underserved communities into meaningful careers in technology and consulting.
He holds a B.S. in Organizational Behavior and Leadership from the University of San Francisco and is a native Californian, having grown up in San Jose before relocating to the Sacramento region in 1991. Outside of work, Mark can be found on the water skiing, on the golf course, or performing with his 10-piece professional show band across California and Nevada.
